Gel, paste or sheets: choosing a format

The biggest difference across our nicotine-free range is the format, because it changes how you load the bowl. Here is a quick side-by-side before you pick a flavour.

BIGG Ice Rockz

Ice Rockz is the larger of our two current ranges, covering single fruits, mint and dessert-style flavours. Shake the jar briefly, add the pieces to your bowl, cover with foil with holes or a charcoal screen, then add charcoal. If you like a straightforward fruit, start with Apple, Watermelon or Strawberry—our most popular Ice Rockz flavours. For something mixed, try Mixed Fruits, another of our most popular Ice Rockz flavours. Pure Love blends vanilla, melon and blueberry, while Sour Touch pairs sour grapefruit with vanilla. Dessert fans can look at Blueberry Muffin, Lemon Cake and Strawberry Cheesecake, and mint fans at Mint and Fresh.

Hookah Squeeze

Use a phunnel-style bowl for Hookah Squeeze. Paste can drip through the bottom holes of a traditional bowl.

Squeeze is a creamy paste in 25g packs. Stir it first, then start with a small amount; you can always use more in your next bowl. The paste needs a little more heat at the start, so once the charcoal is on, allow the bowl around 10 minutes to warm through before your first draw. Fruit options include Lychee, Kiwi, White Grape and Double Apple, which combines tart and sweet apple with aniseed. On the mint side there is Black Mint, Mint and Mintberry. Cooling is made mainly for mixing: a small amount, around 1 to 3g, stirred into a fruit Squeeze adds a menthol edge.

Squeeze can also be layered with other shisha flavours. Bear in mind that if you mix it with tobacco molasses, the bowl is no longer nicotine-free or tobacco-free.

Nicotine-free and tobacco-free are not the same thing

Nicotine-free means a product contains no nicotine. Tobacco-free means it contains no tobacco. The two often go together, but one does not automatically mean the other, so check the product page for whichever matters to you. Our BIGG Ice Rockz, Hookah Squeeze and WAYS flavours are nicotine-free and tobacco-free.

Is this the same as herbal shisha?
Not quite. Herbal shisha usually means a plant or tea-leaf base. Our BIGG Ice Rockz use a gel, Hookah Squeeze is a paste and WAYS uses cellulose sheets, so we describe this range by what it leaves out, nicotine, rather than calling it herbal.
Does nicotine-free also mean tobacco-free?
Not automatically. Nicotine-free means no nicotine, and tobacco-free means no tobacco. Our BIGG Ice Rockz and Hookah Squeeze flavours are both, but for any product it is worth checking the product page for the specific attribute you need.
Can I use Hookah Squeeze with other flavours?
Yes. Hookah Squeeze can be used by itself, or on top of or below a normal shisha flavour. If you combine it with a tobacco shisha flavour, the bowl contains tobacco, so it is no longer nicotine-free or tobacco-free.
